From the family...On September 18th, 2007, Our little Hayden drowned. He was only 2 years old. Had there been a fence around the pool would he still be with us today? We don't know. Maybe God would have taken him another way.
We are still thinking "what if this"; the last "what if came to mind. What if we try to get a bill passed into law that would require these pools to have a fence and locked gate so that this may not happen to others, or require the manufacturer ofthese pools to include a fence with these pools as part of their package?
We do not know if this is the cure for these tragic accidents, but if we could save one life by these actions we can rest and know that our little hayden did not die in vain, and it took his death to make people aware of the dangers involved in purchasing these pools.
We know by all means this will not bring our little Hayden back, but we do hope people understand our mission.
Hayden Paul Davenport was 2 years old when, on September 18, 2007, he wandered off, fell into a pool and drowned. He was our son, our brother, our grandson, our nephew and our cousin. We never thought something like this could happen to our family. But on that terrible day, our lives changed forever.
Our family has decided to honor little Hayden's life even as we mourn his passing. We are trying to get a law passed that will hopefully prevent this from happening to any other family. We would like the law to state that any pool, in ground or above ground, should have a fence at least four feet high surrounding its perimeter. That fence should also have a gate with a lock out of the reach of any young child. This law will be known as HAYDEN'S LAW.

what a beautiful child my heart goes out to everyone especialy mum and dad. may God comfort you in your grife,Hayden was put on this earth for a short time to show us the way in life,always remember the memories the day he was born and what joy he brought to you whilst hear on earth,your Angel will always be with you till the end of time so please take comfort from this, as I know cause I lost three grandchildren two to murder and one to a medical blunder.But i belive God is good and he takes our children out of situations when things become hopeless.Hayden is with my Angels now all happy together in heaven. may they RIP Xxxx
